Liner Notes / Essays

As a music writer, I have been afforded the opportunity to write liner notes for albums and collections, including a 27 disc box set of Bob Dylan’s live recordings from 1974 with The Band and an upcoming eight disc box set compiling Carole King’s albums from the 1970s.

I also contributed an essay on Chrissie Hynde to NPR’s book How Women Made Music and wrote the rock ‘n’ roll chapter for a forthcoming book celebrating the 75th anniversary of Atlantic Records.
